Dremo vs Idowest, Davido Wants To Kick One Out Of DMW – Who Deserves To Go?

Dremo vs Idowest, Davido Wants To Kick One Out Of DMW – Who Deserves To Go?

There is nothing wrong in letting go of unprofitable investments.

From the look of things, it seems Dremo and Idowest are the major non-profitable investments for Davido at DMW.

The label has invested a lot in their music projects but it’s obvious their songs don’t bring in much needed Return On Investments.

Dremo

Dremo got signed to DMW in 2016 alongside Mayorkun who is doing excellently well in the music industry.

Well, Dremo is a hardcore rapper with obvious rap talents but the fact that rap music is not thriving in Nigeria made him become a poor investment at DMW.

After his song “Ojere” almost became a hit in 2016, every other Dremo‘s songs don’t make hit despite Davido‘s influence.

Do you guys even know Dremo had 2 songs this year already?

He’s got one titled “Chairman Remix” with Zlatan and “In Val Red” but the songs are not doing so well.

Idowest

He seems to be the first street artiste to make it into DMW.

Idowest broke out with Shaku-Shaku vibe and as a normal business man Davido wasted no time to sign him because he has displayed enough potential to score more hits with lamba songs.

Shockingly, Shaku-Shaku vibe lost its grip in the music industry with the wide acceptance of Zanku and other related vibes.

His first song with the Label boss, Davido “Ji Masun” struggled to stay on the radar before fading off completely.

Idowest other songs in 2019 like “Ye Mama“, “Owale” featuring Phyno and “Set Awon” but the songs never got enough acceptance as expected.

If Davido seeks your advice on who among these two artistes should be kicked out of DMW.
